In Chertsey KT16
Will be moving about 10mins from it.
Looking to possibly join myself and my 2.5yr old (expense I know). But when you look at the David Lloyd’s and all that out there, tbh it’s about on par of what you pay for those and seems to offer more.
Have tried to research it over the weekend while I’m waiting for my inquiry to be responded to, I feel like for our first year moving to the area (just myself and LO) It feels like a much better option than David Lloyd’s etc Seems to offer so much and a really friendly family environment with events on in each season and just somewhere to go swim with her with less of the David Lloyd drama you get these days at all the clubs. The kids activities they have. Family activities they have going on. Just a good way to ease us into the area) rather than going down like I said the David Lloyd route.
From what I can see, annual potential membership would be classed as a ‘country club’ membership from what I see online
Waiting to hear back from them from my enquiry, but would be good to actually hear any feedback from anyone that went there for a stay, a guest of a member, know a member, anything really.
Have heard from a friend of a friend who played golf there in past, that it’s not stuffy and really friendly. But they have no children and not a parent, but good feedback to get so far.
Will be looking at the swimming pools options as priority, looks like they have a few! Not sure which are open what times of year when it comes to outdoor ones, and which ones are child friendly The best.
Saw the softplay, pavilion, crèche, kids activities advertising on their website.
As well as family activities things that go on there advertised.
But no mention of extra pricing, if there is.
Obviously swimming lessons if having those would be charged extra.
If anyone has any insight into the child advertised things going on during the week etc they show on their site and if these things are included in the membership or all paid as and when used?
Any other useful info for a parent thinking to join with their toddler would be gratefully received.
Thanks so much
