Kid friendly places/activities in Battersea/Victoria

Been planning a meet up and picnic with some friends at Battersea park this week but it looks like the weather is going to be crazy hot. We've got toddlers/young kids coming so I'm looking for somewhere else we could go that would be good for the kids and indoors/sheltered/air-conditioned - doesn't really matter what sort of place but ideally inexpensive, and in the Battersea/Victoria area. Any ideas? Thanks in advance :)

Battersea Park does have lots of shady bits and does have a nice cafe by the boating pond if you still want to do that.

The army museum in chelsea has a great soft play - you have to buy the tickets ìn advance.

Scandinavian Kitchen has opened a second branch near Victoria, and their great Titchfield street branch is child friendly. Wouldn't be able to hang out there all day though.
