London restaurants with aircon

Hiya, any recommendations for a restaurant near St Martins Lane in London with aircon? Off to the theatre tomorrow afternoon and want to eat lunch out before it but it’s meant to be over 30 degrees and I’m pregnant and melting in this heat! Thanks!

It's an extremely busy tourist area and can't imagine many wouldn't have it.
Look on TripAdvisor as there's so much choice it's not really easy to guide you!
Maybe some people know some good ones.

I was at Barafina's for lunch yesterday. It had good aircon downstairs (you have an option to book downstairs online). It does very nice tapas and is just around the corner from St Martins Lane (3 minute walk). Do have a look at the menu and make sure you are fine with the prices, because it's not a particularly cheap option though.

@theinterest Town - 27 Drury Lane. Well spaced tables and perfect before the theatre.

The Hard Rock cafe at Picadilly Circus has excellent air con.

I’ve been to a couple of Flat Irons and they both had air con. I think I’d be more concerned about the theatre though which can be incredibly hot at the best of times. We had tickets for the Gillian Lynn theatre last weekend and that was thankfully air conditioned as it was also 30 degrees.

Ham Yard Hotel is around 7 min walk away and that does a very good pre theatre menu and is air conditioned. None of my suggestions are cheap but they are light and airy with well spaced tables. They will be cool. I think the St Martin’s Lane Hotel also has air conditioned dining and a pre theatre menu. The ones I’ve suggested are not tourist restaurants. Grace Dent recommended Town. It was a lovely calm meal! Just right before the theatre as not too heavy and very tasty.
