Hi, at the end if the month we will be relocating to London from Sydney with a 10 and a 7 year old.
A few people has recommended us Greenwich. Would love to know if you believe this area (particularly between Greenwich station and Maze Hill Station is a good, safe, family friendly area?
Any good primary and secondary schools?

In our list we also have Ealing Broadway and Herne Hill/North Dulwich but it seems it will be slightly more expensive to rent there (looking for a 3/4 bedrooms house).

Thank you.

Greenwich is lovely - the whole of that area of SE London is great. Have you looked around St Johns/Brockley/Ladywell etc? Village feel and some excellent girls schools. Boys schools im not sure about. There are also a few independent schools in the area.

I don't know that Maze Hill part of Greenwich but you could also look at Blackheath or Kidbrooke which are the next parts out and have great transport links. We're in Eltham (on borders of Kidbrooke and Welling side) which is also lovely and has great schools, as well as Oxleas Wood on our doorstep.
Means we're also in catchment for Bexley Grammar schools if you're interested too.
