Comforting to see the police - as limited as their resources are these days - have got their priorities sorted.
Honestly, escalating knife crime, gangs of very well organised shoplifters, domestic violence (which apparently ramped up in the Pandemic), grooming gangs and let's not forget wholesale sex crimes perpetrated on women by serving police officers.......and the police are concentrating their efforts on stopping thieves snatching Rolex watches from well-to-do show offs!
It beggars belief. Truly.

I saw that and thought the same thing. Only solving crimes that affect rich men.

London has groups of young men roaming about at night and they are quite intimidating if you are up there yourself. I am pleased to see the police actively policing them as it makes it safer for everyone else. I’ve had to walk past multiple men like this many nights. I don’t have an expensive watch and they aren’t targeting me particularly but you can’t be sure. If expensive watches helps get the police tackling them then good.

I'd be happier if they did something about muggers targeting kids on the way home from school for their phones.

You do know it's different branches of the force that deal with crimes don't you ?
