Cycle tracks in London (not in streets)

Is there a place in London where you can hire a bike and just cycle around an outdoor or indoor track? I'd love to ride a bike again but can't cycle in the street due to various reasons. Any tips gratefully received!

Lee Valley Velopark

Could you go for a ride in a park - Battersea? Richmond?

Lots of pathways around the Olympic park up through lee valley and access to canal paths. With regards bike hire there are the Santander bikes or lime or other electric options.
Hyde park very limited on paths where bikes can go and lots of people

Can you cycle off road on a tow path? Get a Boris Bike in Putney and head west along the the river as far as you like.

Richmond Park has a bike rental shop and plenty of paths.

Most of the canals allow cycling along the towpaths. It can get very busy at weekends though.
