Give me your Hampstead gems - kid friendly

Staying for the weekend. Don't want to go far over the weekend, so please give me your recommendations for cafes, restaurants, shops, places to go. We will have two children with us 6 and 8. Near vicinity is fine too but don't want to spend too much time on public transport.
We are ex Londoners but not been to Hampstead for quite a few years now.
