Driving Schools in North West London

I am looking for a good driving school school in North West London for a family member The main school he has looked at wants to tie him in to twenty lessons and won't let him try one first to see if the instructor is any good. I would welcome personal recommendations. He travels around London a lot so it doesn't necessarily need to be in that area, but this is where he lives so most convenient.
