Living in London it wasn't a big deal, but now that I can drive I wish I'd done it at 17!
Just wanted to share that little useless piece of information with you ladies :)

Yay.

Well done you.

I was 30. Best thing I ever did. Well done!

Well done! 😊
I'm 41 and I took lessons in my early 20s but failed my test. I so wish I'd gone back and taken it again.

Now I have a little one, I really wish I could drive. So I've decided to go ahead and look into booking lessons. It's never too late to learn...again πŸ˜‰

I learnt and passed at 28, only because my boss made it a condition of my job. Managed perfectly well in London until then and lots of WineWine

Passed my test at 36 after living in London for 17 years and then moving out to the sticks. Bloody love driving.

Well done!

Well done! I'm about to start again at the age of 42, having failed at 20. Like southLondonmum, would be so handy now I have a little one

Stansmith01 · 06/09/2017 10:57

Congrats, that's great! I'm in my early twenties and should really start my lessons as my friends can drive... I don't know if it's nerves or laziness delaying me ha

ASDismynormality · 06/09/2017 10:59

I learnt mid thirties a few years ago, I still love the freedom it gives me.

RefuseTheLies · 06/09/2017 10:59

I did exactly the same, op. And am furious at myself for putting it off for so long. I love driving!

Davros · 07/09/2017 14:56

I like driving too - something "the authorities" never take into account when trying to discourage us! But I also love a bus or tube journey or a black cab. I'm not fussyGrin
