My generally charming 18 year old is stuck at home this year, thanks to the mutant A-Level algorithm, which is nice for me but dire for him.
A friend suggested zoom physics GCSE tutoring and passed him her godson. Feedback has been great - and its amazing to see him throw himself into it. He figured he'd only ask for £15 an hour since he's not qualified, even though he does power points and everything.
Reading the chats here, he might be onto something and I'd love some advice about whether that's right and if this is a welcome offer or not. Given we're all stuck at home, it might be great to have a half-big-brother half teacher zoom in once a week or every other week. Or it might seem arrogant to think its possible without formal teaching experience.
Anyway all thoughts welcome and if you like the idea or know how or where we can advertise fairly let me know!
