Coffe shops in Kingston

I'm hoping some of you Kingston mums can help me. I am new to the area and having trouble finding any nice cafes to go and have a good coffee and a sandwich (maybe even a cheeky slice of cake), I would especially like to find a cafe or two that stay open in the evening as I like to take a stroll on these nice Summer evenings and have a coffee.

Anyone have any suggestions of places to try?

Thanks
H

Patisserie Valerie is a lovely tea shop on the Market Place (just at the entrance to the arcade leading down to the riverside, cant remember its name!)

Great cakes and first class tea and real coffee. Not sure if it is open in the evening, probably not.

Other than that if you are out for an evening stroll along the riverside, there are lots of nice restaurants where you would be able to get a snack. Carluccios's is good.
