new to St Helens

hey, I've just moved to St Helens and dont know anyone, i've got a nine month old, work mon - fri, anyone know of anywhere i can go to meet people on weekends or fancy meeting up for a brew?

I live in St Helens too and would be keen to find some sort of local mum's group too - all my friends in other parts of the country seem to have lots of groups but there's nothing here that I know of.

I believe Surestart centres are a good way of meeting mum's, there's loads in St Helens - you need to join up..whereabouts in St Helens are you? I am planning to go to one soon when it stops raining haha!
