mother n toddler groups

Hi I moved to Maidstone last week. My partner works away and I have a little girl of 2 so looking to get out and meet new people. Anyone know of any local groups?

I moved to Maidstone recently as well. So far, I've found a mother and toddlers group at St Paul's Church, Boxley Rd on Wednesdays 10 - 12 - they're very friendly.

I know there's also one on Monday and Friday mornings at the Salvation Army, Union St - but haven't been to that one yet.

I have a 22 month old little boy and an 8 week old little girl - so would be happy to meet up.

There are some great Sure Start centres in Maidstone - a couple in Parkwood region - The Meadows, which does baby massage classes etc, and has an under 1's clinic on a Thursday for weigh-ins etc. There is another one (but I forget the names, as I am rubbish!) which has a lunch time club on a Tuesday - it's off Northumberland Avenue.

I go to quite a few groups, but a lot have closed for the summer hols.
