Picardy Pre Schools Belvedere Closing :-(

at the end of this term :-( My DD has been there for the term and absolutely loves it there and i do too. Its been running for 40 odd years and some of the staff have been there for 20 years so was very emotional when they held the meeting to say that their contract will not be renewed. The hall is being changed into something else, not quite sure what yet but very sad news. Im not affected because my DDs starting school in Sept but for those that were staying on will have to find somewhere else quick.
I really want to help to keep it open but unless i win a lot of money on the lottery i dont see how...

The vicar is evicting them so I've heard. Still keeping the soft play though as it's a money spinner! I think everyone should boycott Noahs Ark.

The ministers letting them stay until christmas now, all the parents have been emailing so think thats helped in a way. Carry on! I wont be going noahs ark anymore after this.

Good i think if they loose money on that over the summer they might reconsider. I also think the parents need to get some publicity through the newshopper and contact the MP. My dd is older now but a lot of my friends have little ones and everything just seems so bloody hard now,why make it harder.

Yeh hopefully. I think the NEwshoppers already been contacted and the MP. Ministers even had parents at his door. Just gotta keep emailing etc and hope for the best.

Good news Picardy Pre School is being relocated to Erith Road opp BExley College in the Scouts hall :-)
