My fathers Mother's family were from Kingston, her mother was born in the Kingston Workhouse, according to her birth certificate the workhouse was in Acre Rd.
Now I have looked it up, but all locations for the workhouse, are given as the now location for Kingston Hospital, which is not in Acre Rd.
Does anyone know if there was another workhouse?
