High Barnet - new to the area

Hi everyone,

Just moved to High Barnet and wondering if anyone knows any baby/toddler groups that meet on a Monday? I work Tuesday - Friday and annoyingly all the groups I can find seem to meet during the days I am working. Would love to make some friends for my lovely 23-month old dd and maybe some for me as we're feeling a bit isolated just now!

Also, does anyone nearby have a cleaner they might recommend?

I am a new mom to 3 week old Eddie and am looking for other moms to have coffee and go for walks with - perhaps we could get together for a coffee and find groups together? When I go back to work (I'm a piano teacher) I will also work Tues-Fri. Do you go to Vale Drive Health Centre? Where abouts in High Barnet do you live?

I live near Barnet (Potters Bar) and would love to meet up for a coffee if anyone is up for it. I have a 5 month old little girl and desperately looking for some more baby groups to go to, too!

Hi there,

Just to say that during my maternity leave which is about to end I used the children's centre at Underhill quite a lot and met lots of other Mums there.They have various playgroups, rhyme times and other activities and the staff are lovely. It is about 20-minute walk from High Barnet. The Barnet library also has rhyme times and a children's centre (although I think it might close at the end of March due to cuts).
