Advice about visiting Isle of Wight

Hello, I haven't been to the Isle of Wight since I was a child and can't remember much about it. DH and I have a child free week at the beginning of August and we thought we would come over the Isle of Wight for a few days. Can anyone recommend the best areas and hotels please. We want a really nice hotel as it's a special break and we would like to go somewhere reasonably cosmopolitan (if that exists) as we are an inter-racial couple.
Many thanks.

Hi
Only just reading this this so sorry for the delay!

One of the nicest Hotels I know of on the Island is the Priory Bay in Seaview. It is a beautifully modernised old Manor House (I think!) and is in its on grounds and leads down to a private beach, it also has a restaurant which has had very good reviews.

Hope that helps! Let me know if you need any other info and I will try to help!
