Waldegrave School - is it good?

Hi we're thinking of applying to Waldegrave - DD's in year 5 currently so in Sept 2011. I'd like to hear from anyone who has daughter there or has worked there who would be kind enough to give me the low-down on the school the good and the bad please. Or direct me if this is an old topic and there are lots of posts already.

I have a friend who works there as a teacher at the mo bout to go on maternity leave but thinks its a really good school it was also her secondary school when she was at school hth

I went to Waldegrave when I was younger and have also done some teacher training there. I can't recommend it enough. I think it's in the top 11-16 schools in the South East at the moment. They have a lot of extra curricular activities and behaviour management is excellent.

Definitely better than sending your DD to Orleans, Teddington or Whitton schools.

I have only heard the best about it. Unfortunately no experience directly but friend's daughter goes there and can't praise it enough.

My daughter attends and it has been fantastic for her. The results are fabulous. I just wish there was a local state school as good for my boys.

i went to waldergrave and i went back there to work a few years ago. it was a great school back then and still is a great school. there are many of the same teachers there, which says something.
IF you can get your daughter in, you will be very lucky! i tried with mine but no : (
