Hi Nearly-New-Mums,

Are you a Haringey Mum-to-be due this August or September?

I am studying a MA in Educational Psychotherapy (working with primary aged children)and am looking for a new mother and baby to observe at home for 1 hour a week starting in September.

I teach at a local Primary school and live in Bounds Green. I have my own 10 month old baby girl, so understand firsthand the experience of being a new mum.

But now I need to take a step back, be neutral and just watch how mummy and baby learn to relate to each other and how a baby develops on a weekly basis.

I have been observed weekly with my baby this year. It was scary at first, but you learn that nothing is expected of you - you just carry on your life as normal (with baby sleeping/feeding/changing/grizzling as usual!). It was fascinating.

If you are interested in taking part, please get in touch soon.

many thanks Sarah
