I am actually posting for my mother-in-law. She is German and, having raised 5 children, one of whom has married an English girl (that's me!), she now wants to practice her language skills so she can chat to her grandchildren in English. She has always been a childminder in Germany and would like to come to Cambridge for about 3/4 months, either from September - December, or from January onwards (but she's flexible with dates). Perhaps you will have just had another baby and would value a few months' help. To be honest her English is fantastically good (she really doesn't need the practice!), but she loves engaging children in creative play, and would just like to spend more time in the UK.
She would like to live in (or have enough of a salary to be able to rent a small place), but is looking for minimal pay really (she doesn't need the money - it's just about the job). Happy to look after babies or children - if you would value a more mature, educated lady (rather than a 20 year old) who can really engage with kids, then she could be just the person for your family.
