Anyone looking for playdates in the West End?

I know 'playdates' is a terrible expression but basically would like to know if anyone else has a child around 3 years of age who would like to meet up ? We are lucky enough to have a large garden and loads of bouncy/swingy stuff to play on. I can provide juice, coffee and home made cake ! DS2 (3.6 years) is getting to the stage of being bored with me

I'm in the west end (Whiteinch) and have a dd of 4.4 - don't know if she would be too 'old' for your DS? She's an only child and while she plays with other children when at her childminder's, 3 days a week, none of my friends have children. So I think she's a bit shy of children she doesn't know. I'd be up for having them meet up if you think your DS would like that?

The only thing is we live in a high flat which (obviously!) doesn't have a garden. Having you guys over here, for a change or whatever, wouldn't really be possible at the moment. We are near Victoria Park though, so I would be happy to meet up there or anywhere really.

Don't be shy to say you're looking for playmates for your DS who are closer to his age - I won't be offended!

You sound ideal actually - No problem whatsoever about your flat - We go to Victoria Park quite a lot anyway. You can email me at [email protected] and we can discuss a meet maybe in the Park to get to know each other?

My DS2 is about the same age as yours (3.4), and we're hellishly busy atm, but his big brother starts P1 in August and I fear he is going to be a wee lost soul without him so we'd love to meet up. We're south Glasgow too, but happy to travel to the West End. I have another West End friend with a DS about the same age, and we've been meaning to meet up for ages, so perhaps we could all get together at some point over the summer?

Hi midnight - You sound ideal too ! Actually we live so close to the Clyde Tunnel that we might as well be in the South Side ! Can you email me at [email protected] and we can all arrange to meet up ! Either West End or South Side is fine for me.

Geordie there are still weekends if you can fit us in !
