Double buggies on Brighton buses...?

Hello all, I am thinking about buying a double buggy (side by side, not one above the other) for my DCs, but am wondering just how practical it is- will it fit on a bus, for example?! Has anyone taken a double buggy on a bus and was it easy or a nightmare?!?!?!

I think there wouldn't be enough room on the bus. Many still have steps. Would be a nightmare imo.

I can't imagine you would be able to get in shops and stuff easy

it would be fine on all of the buses I ever use I think, especially if it was one of the umbrella fold ones. Everyone else seems to have a philandteds in Brighton though!

I had a P&T and just about mananged on buses. Anything wider would have been a nightmare I think as the aisles on the buses are quite narrow.

By the way, I have only ever come across one bus with steps so I wouldn;t worry about that.

must just be the ones I get on then! that's the 28 29 and 25!

Thanks everyone. I will try to resist the urge!

In case anyone's interested, I didn't resist the urge!! I bought a Phil and Ted's twin with a narrow gauge and fits on the buses! Woohoo!
