Thinking of moving to SW4

(clapham common?) but have no knowledge of the area, and have no idea what it's like "down there"

can anyone shed any light? crime rates, council tax rates, how are the schools there (DS is only 18mo so primary schools, of course), friendliness, etc. etc.

Clapham is lovely and great for family life in the city. Good starting point would be to think about schools - are you going state or private as this will help you with location.
