Looking for a venue / hall

My friend and i are starting a Scrapbooking / cardmaking social club in Oxford, but we are searching for a reasonably priced venue / hall to use for 1 or 2 evenings per month - with accessible parking.

I stay in Summertown, but the venue doesn't necessarily have to be near my home.

Please send some suggestions that I can check out during the week and also, if you are interested to join our new social group, please e-mail me!

Have you tried contacting the University to see if they have any space at weekends?

long shot (they usually deal mostly with conferences during the week) but may have small areas available at the weekends?

I reckon local schools/church halls will be your best bet.

Or community centres. East Oxford Community Centre has rooms, and Tesco's car park is close by, though I don't know the situation in North, South, West Oxford.

What about trying the North Oxford Association, next to Ferry Sports Centre in Summertown?
