So nice to see you all today (Wiggletastic, RHG, PD, Girrafes). We had a great time and dh now knows you are all real!!

RHG and I went back to the park for a short while afterwards (my 3 were driving dh insane by then) and were chatting about meeting up again soon - wondered about how people felt about Pollok Park/Burrell sometime?

No ideas when but it was great today and ds wants to get his chance for a "proper cuddle" with PDs ds4!

Your DS will have to fight me for a cuddle with ds4

Am up for that, am off Fri, Sat, Sun. When its Summer hols can bring kids too - 7,5 and 2.5.

Wiggletastic · 09/05/2010 07:44

Fridays or weekends good for us. Pollok Park handy for us and nice swings for DD . Burrell cafe has nice cakes or a cream tea at Pollok House after checking out the highland cows would be good too.

PacificDogwood · 09/05/2010 17:04

Hi, ladies, I found you !

I just posted on the old thread, but we had a lovely time and are most certainly up for another meeting.

DS4 up for more puking on people cuddles .

Burrell/Pollock Park sounds good - off our beaten track so by definition interesting and good cakes, always a winner!

Any day is fine by me as long as mat leave lasts... DSs1 and 2 in school of course.

Hi all, sorry I didn't make it either for 10.30, but ended up going with DS later that day.

I have lived in Glasgow for six years and have been to Glasgow Green many times but until I noticed people mentioning here, had no idea there was another really cool park there. So sorry I couldn't make it but thanks for the info.

Hope to make it to the next one - am up for Pollock Park

RedHairedGirlie · 09/05/2010 21:04

Lovely to catch up wtih everyone again and what perfect weather.. I ended up staying on a bit longer with DD to watch the crazy bungy jumping!!!! ... I've jumped out of a plane before with no problem.. but there is no way I could be tempted to do that !!!

I'm up for Pollock park sometime too - sadly can only make weekends.. unless i pull a sickie ..

heavydutyjudy · 14/05/2010 19:20

hello all,

I'm a new mum based in Dennistoun but have car so can travel...it would be really nice to meet some other mums in Glasgow - are you all great friends that know each other well? How does this all work? I've done internet dating before, but not this!

My DS is eight weeks old and I'm an 'oldie' at 38!

giraffesCANdriveAcar · 15/05/2010 00:11

Welcome heavydutyjudy

SlummyMummyAndProud · 15/05/2010 21:33

Hi there,

I'm fairly new(ish) to Mn and would like to meet up also as I don't have many friends with kids.

Unfortunately I work full-time (boo!) so would only be able to do weekends.

You all sound like a nice bunch

giraffesCANdriveAcar · 15/05/2010 23:51

Slummy, am in the same situation working FT so can only make weekends now too.. maternity leave seems like a distant memory now..

Anyone free this saturday and want to meet for a coffee somewhere??

heavydutyjudy · 21/05/2010 19:58

Hello, slummy and heavyduty

SlummyMummyAndProud · 31/05/2010 22:26

Any thoughts?
