French speakers in TW??

Sandrine's pilates school runs a pilates class in French so you should find other French speakers there. She also does a mums and babies class too.

Not in the area at the moment, but we'll be moving down over the summer. We're English but I'm a French teacher and trying to expose DD to French as much as possible.

I'll let you do all the leg work establishing French connections and then muscle in a few months down the line if that's ok!

Hi: I moved back after 6 years in France a year ago and am struggling to keep up my 8 year old's French (and, umm, my own!) - I'm in Groombridge: if you fancy coming to me to do some tuition, but also I'd love to chat to people who barely speak English.

BTW La Petite Ecole Kentoise is a saturday morning French school run in Tonbridge by the French Government for local French children. Unfortunately it is mostly French mothers married to English fathers, with the children at school in English, so to be honest with you it wasn't progressing the language and we stopped. www.petite-ecole-kentoise.co.uk/

I also have a 4 year old and know lots of people in Groombridge - thoroughly recommend the pre-school. I hope to hear from some of you, or anyone with an au pair they'd like to lose for a few hours ;-)
