Yes, I was on the silver star ward after I developed pre-eclampsia. I stayed a few weeks, I was then admitted there with my second child just for a few days.

They are very good, but very busy. Is much better than the Horton if that is your alternative.

If you will be in a while, ask them for a weekly car parking pass rather than paying daily if your partner will be visiting.

League of fiends shop in the reception downstairs does good and cheap cakes.

thanks for the tip about the parking pass

My friend has had 3 problems pgs and she raves about the silver star team. Budget cuts mean the ward and services are under threat so she's doing a charity fundraiser for them.

I was monitored by them for pg with dd and they were very good.

I honestly wouldn't have my son without the silver star team so although this thread is older I just had to say how wonderful they are, so careing and understanding. I go under them due to existing health problems and disability, I had my first child in Liverpool and you just can't compare the medical disorders team in Liverpool to the silver star team, worlds apart in the best kind of way, I hope things are going or did go well for you x

They're brilliant - I actually had a silver star MW for my delivery (very busy and had to call down a MW from L7) and she was amazing (also the daughter of a friend of mine, but believe be the bias isn't needed)

Considering private silver star for #2

WMMC - we keep coming up on these threads, you must have a DC the same age as my DS (2.7)
You're a Tsarina aren't you?
