Stuff to do in or around St Albans

I have a 7yo dd and my friend has a 7yo ds. Just wondering if anyone has any good places to take the kids in St Albans while we're here.

Willows farm off the A414 in conley heath is good. Can be expensive so look for 'kids go free' vouchers in the local papers.

I like the idea of the farm or the inn on the park as they look like they could fill a day.

We went to Butterfly world recently and it was really good. It isn't finished yet but they do have some tropical butterflies in an enclosed area and the gardens are lovely.
It's only £6 per adult and £4 per child, under 3s free.
