Any good activity classes for my 20-month-old in North Bristol?

Hi, I live in Horfield with my very active 20-month old boy, and was wondering if anyone can recommend any good activity groups for him? He goes to a toddler group and a singing group with his childminder but I'd love to take him to something really active on my day off so he can let off some steam... Something along the lines of gym tots or football tots.

Thanks

Hello. I was looking in the Bristol titchikers guide the other night and there were a couple of things in there along the lines of gym classes for toddlers. Bristol school of gymnastics on Gloucester Road does classes for toddlers (www.bristolsg.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/class%20u3.html) - sounds quite good but not cheap at over £4 a session. Also JackinaBox at Waterford Hall in Henleaze.
I don't have personal experience of either of these but had read about them recently and hadn't realised that gym classes existed for 2 year olds!

Thanks for that Ellenmarsh - I am very close to the one on Gloucester Rd so may give it a go. You're right, it's not cheap, but looked into Socatots and that works out at around £25 a month , so don't think any of them come cheap sadly!

Hi, have you thought about swimming? I have a crazy active 14m old and we do swimming lessons at Horfield, you'd be quite close to that. Really tires him out! About £4-5 a lesson. Gymboree has started in Westbury-on-Trym which I was considering but is even more expensive, bit further from you but do-able. Link is here

Swimming is also an option yes, and so obvious I almost overlooked it! Thanks for the link to Gymboree, I'll check it out

Jack in a Box is great. Both of mine have done it. The new hall is opening the week after half term...

Jack in a Box is fab, lots of fun and also you can leave the older ones there while you nip to the shops
