Hello, I am 45 yrs young and have a 5yr old son. We are moving to Godmanchester from York in the next couple of weeks, so are looking for some advice on the area and maybe make some new friends. Although my son is quite independent and outgoing, I am feeling a little apprehensive about this move for him especially. we are hoping that we can get into the local primary school and that will help him. So if you live in or near Godmanchester it would be great if you could give us info on the area.

hopefully one of the expert mums will be along to help you out. I got lots of advice when we moved to the Huntingdon area.

I've been doing supply teaching since I have been here and from what I have heard Godmanchester School is lovely.

Good luck with the move. Your son will be more resilient than you think. My girls have thrived since being here.

Hello, I live in Godmanchester! It's very lovely, a nice friendly place to live. My little boys are almost 3 and 5 months, so not at school age yet, but we live very close to the primary school and I expect my boys will go there. I've heard good things about it as well.

If you click on my profile there is an email address there, do drop me a line if you want to chat or to know anything specific.
