Moving to the area

Hello, I am moving to the outskirts of Clevedon in June 2010 with DH and ds and dd (both under 2). I currently live in quite a child friendy (read yummy mummy!) area in the south east and I'm a bit daunted to move somewhere where I won't know a soul with two little ones. Any recommendations for good toddler groups/meet ups? Also I will be looking for a childminder or nursery that would take DS 1 or 2 days a week?

Hi, we live in weston-super-mare so only a few miles away. Sure there will loads in Clevedon, we go to a few here and playgroup. Puxton Park is fab for little ones and they have a group on a weds morning (never been myself)

I have dd who is 3 and ds who is 11 weeks so you are more than welcome for coffee anytime.

Loads in Bristol, Cribbs Causeway, Central Bristol etc, if you have a bugaboo most in Bristol you will fit right in, most people stare at mine here as they've never seen one in the flesh

hi sorry for delay in reply - computer broke! Thanks for replying to my post. As i need a double buggy I have an icandy peach which looks pretty much like a bugaboo

i will google puxton park and would definitely be up for coffee one day. DS is almost 17 months but prefers to play with older kids and dd is 6 weeks.

I'm in Portishead so not a million miles away. There is a good toddler group in Portishead on a Tues morn called Sticky Fingers, it's in the Community Centre.
