Where to donate easter eggs?

My 2 have just been given 12 full size easter eggs between them by grandparents... Where can we donate some of them? We have missed the Castle Mall Easter Egg appeal, are there any projects anyone knows of or can you take these things up to the children's ward at the hospital etc?

The only other thing I can think of is to phone a local radio station and ask them.
