Just about to move into Bucks from Bedfordshire, and I would be really grateful for any opinions on where is a good place to live! within the catchments of the Royal Latin or Ayeslbury Girls' schools would be good, and after living in urban hell for some years we would really like a village, but one which has a good 'community' spirit and at least a shop and pub (the latter is DH's requirement)! Nice small town would also be good. Two daughters aged 5 and 10 have been promised somewhere nice, friendly and safe to live. Any thoughts??

Edlesborough is very nice ! 2 pubs, post office, cafe, bike/carpet store/take away/ 2 nice indian restaurants. 14 miles west of Aylesbury. Large village..safe with nice community spirit.
