Hi

I live near the centre of York and have a 12 week old baby girl.

Can anyone recommend any good baby groups/classes in or around York?

jelly tots at the methodist church on Priory St is nice, there's a few young babies go and toddlers too. It's every wed and fri from 10-11.30.
It's a nice group, not too cliquey and i've made some really good friends there.

Hope to see you down there.

Thanks jooseyfruit, that sounds like the sort of thing I'm looking for. Hopefully will make it in the next couple of weeks

I'll be the one with a 2 yo with very blonde curly hair and a massive grin.
I shall mostly be eating biscuits!

Hi Caz,

There is a free Baby Sensory taster session this Friday if you fancy coming along to that. Its at All Saints Hall in Upper Poppleton. Birth to 6 months class is from 11:30 to 12:30.

How about National Childbirth Trust (NCT)? Sorry, my dc's are much older now so don't know up-to-date details, but your health visitor should be able to help - or look on the internet. They have coffee mornings held at people's houses and it's a great way to meet new friends, find out about other stuff that's going on. All the best!
