i'm just north of brighton but no local recs - actually just bought from kids curtain company and they are fabulous. good quality and lovely choice of fabrics. took about 3 weeks to be made and arrive.

www.dunelm-mill.com/ - make very good curtains, really good value, not sure if there are children's designs, but they also have a big branch in Shoreham. We had some made by them last year and are really pleased.

oh yes, we used dunelm in shoreham too, but choice of children's fabric not so wide. good choice if you just want nice colours rather than obviously children's curtains and very good prices.

I would recommend a more personal service from Holmes Drapes on Btn 600585, they have a wealth of experience and source fabric from across the area, so don't end up paying a fortune with shop made curtains!

Best of luck

Theres the Fabric Warehouse in George street, off Edward & St James street (if you don't know it) Much nearer to you, & they have a good choice of furnishing fabric & have some one who can make up for them too, the Guy who owns it is lovely, really helpful, & his stuff is very reasonable, & he'd be fine about you using fabric from elsewhere if you can't find what you want.

I've used a lot of his cloth for making curtains, clothes too for that matter & always found the quality very good, I've not used the make up service, but I've heard they are good too
