Primary School Appeals, Whitley Bay

I moved my three year old from a full time Sure Start nursery to the nursery and Wraparound facility attached to the school I wanted her to go to. Application has been refused for this school and my second choice. Looking at all the websites it does not look like I will have much success at appeal, but I have to try, as I feel so quilty about moving my daughter again. You do not really have a choice in an area where schools are over subscribed. Any advice?

Hope you managed to find another school place at one of the many outstanding first schools in Whitley Bay If not try again a year later - although i recommend you move into the area first!

Went to appeal and lost both, even complained to LGO. There was only one First school that had a place, so we have taken a place there. They have been very good. But I will apply in October for a year 1 place at the two schools as the childcare arrangements are going to be hard with three children at three different schools. Hopefully it will all work out.
