Has anyone taken their DC to socatots in edinburgh? In particular the one as boswall parkway scout hut?

What did you think? Worth the money?

Watching with interest

I tried to take mine but having signed up for a new one at Cameron Toll and paid up a fortune, this was cancelled at the last minute and it was quite a job to try and get the money back. It was a shame as DS was looking forward to it (or I was looking forward to packing him off with his dad at least )

Not been to socatots, but DS did go to Minikickers for a term, we had to stop because he started afternoon preschool. Seemed very good, well organised and they appeared to my untrained eyes to be learning actual technique.

He has recently started Enjoyaball, which he appears to be enjoying, can't say more than that as the Childminder takes him and his reports back can be somewhat erratic.

Never been to Socatots, but my ds does mini kickers. He loves it and the coaches seem really good with the kids.

What age is your DC? We went to the Socatots at Boswall with DS when 2 1/2 and it was just chaos. They are too young at that age really for what they were being asked to do. DS enjoyed running up and down the Scout Hut but he could do that for free elsewhere! I was considering taking him back now he is 4.
Having said that the instructor was very nice and patient with the kids.
