Any recommendations for groups I could join to meet people

I had my DD 4 weeks ago and I'm looking to meet other mums in the St Albans area.

Are there any mum &baby groups you could recommend I go to / breastfeeding cafes / meet ups.

The majority of my friends are in work during the day and I'd like to meet more people - as much as I adore my daughter, i need some adult interaction during the day

Thanks

Congratulations!

We used to go to a lovely baby and toddler group at the Methodist (I think) church on Hatfield Rd.

You could also speak to your health visitor, we got an invite to a post-natal group of mums who'd had babies the same month, pretty sure all surgeries in the area do the same? We made some good friends from our group.

Hi MissyLainey,

Congratulations on your DD

groups.yahoo.com/group/nctstalbans/Here's a link to the St Albans NCT yahoo group. It's free to join and there are lots of Mums there to chat to and meet up with.

www.nctpregnancyandbabycare.com/in-your-area/stalbansHere's the home page of the NCT in St Albans which also lots of things which will be helpful to you.

Try looking for your local surestart centre, you can find them by going to Hertsdirect and searching for children's centres.

Best of luck.
