Prenatal bikini wax - seeking recommendation

Hi,

After having been told by my midwife that it's easier for them to stitch up any new mums' perineal tears (here's hoping not!), I'm thinking of having a pre-labour bikini wax. This will be my first time with professional waxing, as I've always managed it myself until my bump got in the way

My research suggests bikini waxing is safe in pregnancy, but can be more painful (surely nothing compared to labour), but I've heard horror stories about bleeding, bruising, rashes etc. and so am keen to have my waxing done by someone who is experienced in waxing pregnant women.

I'd prefer central-ish Bristol (BS1, BS2, BS3, BS6, BS8)

Does anyone have any recommendations of bikini waxers during pregnancy?

Thanks!

Hi!
I have regular waxes at SAKS hair and beauty at the David Lloyd Club in Long Ashton (next to the park and ride).
Not sure what the policy is on pregancy waxing but find them the least painful of all the places I've been over the years.
If you do it yourself you'll prob find it less painful when someone else does it as you've got an extra pair of hands to hold the skin taut.
If they don't may be able to refer you on to someone else.
I hope this is of some help
