primary schools in Acton

Hi all
I have a 2 and a half year old and I am feeling the need to research local State Primaries (I know we might not get where we want) but would like to be prepared.
Anyone have any words of wisdom about the local schools in Acton?

my dc go to berrymede its a really good school, the head teacher is brill

Agreed milkandcookies, Berrymeade is an excellent school and the teachers are wonderful too. The school also rates highly on the national league tables.
