Didn't there used to be a Sports centre/swimming baths near the Norton Roundabout?

I was in Sheffield on Saturday (DH and I are looking at house as we are moving to Sheffield).

We got on to the outer ring road, and I noticed a load of cardealerships next to the Norton College!

I used to live in Low Edges about 10 years ago, didn't there used to be swimming baths and a sport centre where the car dealership is?

Or am I imagining it? I am pretty sure I am not, I seem to remember the changing rooms were horrid and the pool was always flipping freezing!!

There was one attached to the school/college - really horrible pool, and I used to do trampolining in the sports hall a lifetime ago.

Any luck with the house hunting?

I don't know that side of town very well. Car dealership is new. Think they have recently knocked down the old school and rebuilt a new one not too far away.

Hi, there's Graves Tennis and Leisure Centre which also has a pool, it's been there for decades so probably the one you mean. It's on the same site as Norton College, on Dyche Lane between Norton and Meadowhead roundabouts!
