Anyone recommend a cleaner?

Hi, I've finally convinced DH that I can't do everything and we've agreed to get a cleaner. Can anyone recommend a company? We're in Cambridge city centre. A friend uses Bella Cassa but I'd like to have more than 1 option to contact.

Thanks.

Try Cobwebs - 01223 426184 look at their website
www.cobwebscleaningservices.co.uk

They are not the cheapest but very reliable and two lovely women, that work as a team.

Thanks. I'm using Bella Casa at the moment so tied into them for an initial 3 months. The only irritating thing is that the cleaner I've been allocated turns up any time between 12 and 3.30 meaning when she turns up late I'm trying to cook DD's tea around her. Are cobwebs better at turning up when they say they will? If so, I'm tempted to think about giving them a try.

Cobwebs will work around you. They are very good and giving a time a sticking to it and especially not a 3.5 hr window. They also do key holder jobs (so you don't always have to be there). They do a lot of work with the elderly/mental health people/social services, as well as 'normal' domestic cleans, so therefore are keen time-keepers. Give then a call and see what they are able to offer you. I know they are a busy little partnership, that also has the means to provide carpet cleaning, window cleaning and specialist floor cleaning, as an additional service.

Just Stay away from Bella Casa. They are terrible. Customer satisfaction is not important to them at all. Avoid Bella Casa!

Have used Bella Casa - awful - and Spotless Cleaning - unbelievably awful. Now given up and done it myself but still badly need a cleaner! Are there any decent Cambridge cleaners out there?

I'd stay away from Time For You as well.

Have heard bad and good things about them. Think they do their best but it depends on the clenaer you get. Havent heard anyone say a good word about Bella Casa or Spotless.

Hi,
Does anyone know how religious are St. Paul's Primary School and St. Matthew's? Seems like they might be in a catchment area of a house we might rent, but since we're secular and Jewish by culture, we prefer a non-religious school. What happens if your area school is religious? Would they reassign you?
Thanks.

you need to start a new thread really, as this one is about cleaning, and most people won't see a question about schools.

But to answer you, from what I know - St Matthew's is not at all religious (apart from the obligatory), and St Paul's is quite religious.
