Hi, I'm moving to South Wimbledon next week and I noticed the Abbey Childrens Centre near to my house. Anyone been, or know what they offer?

I've got a 2.5yr old and a 4mth old and I'm looking for toddler activities I can take a baby to.

Thanks.

Yes, I have - find the activities quite basic . My 3 year old was bored at messy play. There are other things around though. Where are you moving to in S. Wimbledon.?

I go to soft play at the YMCA ; Polka theatre for food and a runaorund in the play area ;I have been to toddlers at Holy Trinity Church. There is also Eddis Catz - big soft play near the Sainsburys.

I still go to Abbey Childrens centre to get DD 9 months weighed but don't recommend the activities. You can just pop in and get a schedule of activities.

Hello, we moved 2 weeks ago. I braved Eddie Katz on Monday - DD loved it but then got scared by the big kids and stuck at the top of the massive slide screaming. I was at the bottom with a hungry baby trying to cajole her down

When is toddlers at Holy Trinity?

Hi Yzzil, I go to The toddler group at Holy Trinity most weeks. It's on Tuesdays 9:30-11:30. Make sure you get there by 9:30 as it fills up very quickly.
Other toddler groups in Colliers Wood:
Mondays - Oasis Church 10-11:30 or Rhyme Time at the library 10-10:45
Thursdays - Funtime at Colliers Wood community centre 9:30 - 12:00
Fridays - Collywobbles at Christchurch 10-11:30 (I'll be there tomorrow)
I think there's a group at the farm on wednesdays but I've never been
hth and welcome to c.wood/s.wimb!

Hi, I tried Holy Trinity today, thanks for the tip to go early. Think DS is a little young still - he managed about 20 mins before crashing out. Still I got a nice long walk in the sunshine whilst he slept!

Ooh, I was there, which one were you.....?

Dark curly hair and glasses, 4mo blond boy in stripy rugby top (or at one point just a vest due to huge poo explosion!)

I tried to respond yesterday but it was being redirected to "preview" all the time...weird. Trying again:

I must have missed you. I have long dark curly hair, had stripey grey and black long top over black(ish) jeans. Had two little ones (one mine) with me then a two yr old (who arrived later)
Collywobbles isn't far from you and is great for babies. There are quite a few there plus lots of bumps so will be even more babies soon! There's a nice baby corner. I'll be there this Friday

Hello again, my MIL is coming this week so I can't do Friday - I'm going to have my hair cut (the glamour!)

I'll try it another week. I have DD as well on Fridays so it would probably work out better for me than T3.
