For a celebratory lunch for DH's birthday. Needs to be good value, friendly and in the centre of Greenwich. Very grateful for any recommendations...?

pizza express is as child friendly as it gets in greenwich! very friendly staff. or The Hill.

hmmm, the cafe rouge is very child-friendly and there's a pizza express that is also pretty good. Does it definitely have to be central Greenwich? Blackheath just up the hill probably has more interesting places and caters well for children. What else...there's a pub called the Guildford Arms that has a lovely garden and terrace and does food (it used to be very French menu, but I think it's gone back to more British). I don't know if they had highchairs - how old will the children be?
I've never been in the Rivington Bar & Grill but maybe some other locals have and can let you know how child-friendly or otherwise it is...

I second Pizza Express. I would not consider entering the place without my dd's!

The Rivington is lovely but not cheap & there isn't lots of space.

The Cafe Rouge is big & full of families at the weekend. Gets very lively!

Bar du Musee is good - nice French food & lots of interesting things for kids to look at (well, posters, mismatched chairs etc). It is opposite Bullfrog shoes-red on outside but you can go in thru the glass fronted cafe at the side with a pram & head through to the back.

What kind of food do you like?
