Hi

I was wondering if there are any Banbury ladies with little ones at primary school in Banbury? It would be great to hear what the school are like. The closest to me would be The Grange but I don't know anyone with kids that go there!! I hear the schools in Bloxham are very good??

Any info would be great. thanks :-)

Where abouts are you? I'm in Barford St Michael and ours go to Great Tew which is bloody brilliant but hard to get into depending on where you are. Bloxham is okayish, quite churchy. Deddington is good too - both are oversubscribed. I guess it depends where you are comparing it to. Bloxham has very little in the way of sports facilities I think - they all tramp down the hill to the independent school or get bussed to Chippy for games.

Hi Thanks for replying. I live in banbury in Cherwell Heights literally 2 mins walk away from The Grange primary school. I personally don't know a lot about it but when I mention it to people they go very quiet on me!!!! Not sure what to do now. Also they don't have a pre-school attached either. My daughter is only 2 so I am stressing quite early on!! ha ha.

any thoughts???

I'm not sure why anyone would "go quiet" on you when mentioning The Grange - it's long been a school that people have fought to get their children into! I shall ask friends I know next week and find out more info, just in case something has happened that I don't know about.
