Somewhere lovely for Sunday dinner?

Looking for somewhere nice(not necessaryily posh but not toby carvery , toddler friendly, less than an hour(ish) from Glasgow that does fabby sunday dinner?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I haven't been for ages (not post-children) but have you ever been to Struther Farmhouse (01560 484946) in Dunlop? It was really fabulous; good Sunday fare, roasts and all trimmings. IIRC, the puddings in particular were pretty spectacular, and you eat in an old farmhouse so it's all cosy and lovely.

I don't think it has a website.

I'd never heard of it either - got taken by my evening class for a Christmas dinner. I think it must be a well-kept secret. Only appears once in a blue moon and then vanishes.
