Help! Need a sledge!

Am in West End but can travel - every shop we've tried is sold out - Dobbies Garden World, Toys R Us, Sentry Box, SnoZone (and others in Xscape) - no joy. Does anyone know of a place we could try?

sports direct? i know they had some last week ( the one on sauchiehall street) might all be gone by now though

Thanks kirmcc - hadn't thought of them. If all else fails we can still use our MaClaren Raincover (works like a dream!) and I've also booked a toboganning session at SnoZone as a birthday surprise for my 6 year old next week - so have a fall back or two if the sledge still proves elusive

Hi Glasjam, Didn' t realise you' re aGlasgow gal. The sledging will help as per WW thread

smallorange · 09/01/2010 18:12

Co- op GReat western road had some round things which looked pretty zippy on Thursday - dunno if they are still there tho..

Smallorange - Happy New Year! Like the sound of the round zippy things and haven't tried that shop yet. No joy on Sauchiehall Street.

And HerMomminess yes I am in Glasgow - if you are ever in the Botanics and see someone whizzing down the slopes on a MacClaren raincover, then it's probably me or my children

Hope you got the sledging sorted. We ' re in the leafy burbs of Lenzie but do hang out a la west end quite often! Will hopefully make a meet up at some point in the future...before my retrun to work anyway.
