Anyone want to share resolutions?
Mine is to become and stay organised. I think this is essential, as i turned up with DS to one of his little friends' b'day parties a couple of days ago. The house was deserted. It had been two days previous. dur.

This came on top of getting him all excited about going to the panto, then realising the tickets were for the previous week. aaaggghhh!

How can one person be so crap??
Anyway - i have bought a diary and intend to start the fly lady housecleaning program - although i still dont have a sink or cooker . I have high hopes to have a workable kitchen before next weekend!

Tummy baby is under strict instructions not to make an appearance before the house is ready. We may be looking at elephantine gestation periods here.....

Oh Pooter...poor DS! Did he forgive you? As for fly lady...I don't understand her website, but would love some tips...you could always start a fly thread on here to help us all out!

I generally don't make resolutions at New Year these days, but I have vowed that we must get out walking more. I keep saying,'if we had a dog, we'd be doing this or that or going here or there', but I've decided that we can do it without a dog (especially given that all my plans for getting a dog are ruined by DS having a horrid allergic reaction on Boxing Day to the dogs).

oh no! allergic to dogs - poor DS! Im allergic to them too, and have looked into the 'hypoallergenic' dog breeds like schnauzers and poodles - they just don't float my boat though. I like a dog to have eyebrows like the cartoon dog in Belle and Sebastian. (if anyone had a childhood plonked in front of the TV like i did!) He was a Berenese Mountain Dog.

The panto disaster was ok because i had also booked tickets in Barnstable with the inlaws, so i just told him we were going with granny and grampy in a few days time. He enjoyed it and did a lot of clapping and kind of joined in with very quiet 'boo's' for the ugly sisters.
