Sounds good RHG!

Once the kids are back at school (5th jan) I will be very keen to meet for coffee etc!

shonaspurtle · 23/12/2009 17:35

Hello! I haven't met either of you yet, but I'd be up for coffee in the New Year.

I've met geordieminx, trixymalixy & midnightexpress before but not for a while.

I'm available Thurs/Fri & at the weekend.

RedHairedGirlie · 23/12/2009 20:35

Great - will be nice to meetup again (and Weegiemum you can finally get that cuddle from a rather lively little girl :-) )

Shall we provisionally say Friday Jan 8th @ 11:30?

Would Kelvingrove be OK then I can entertain the wee one for a while as I think they do story time on a friday morning..

Count us in.

Nyx · 26/12/2009 14:59

I'd love to come - but will be picking dd up from nursery at 12:30 that day. Do you think you will be there longer than an hour?

bethjeff · 28/12/2009 03:14

You can count me in too

weegiemum · 28/12/2009 05:56

I can manage that! Nyx, on past experience we will certainly be there for more than an hour!

I'll have no kiddies with me as mine are all at school, but it will be nice to meet up again.

RedHairedGirlie · 28/12/2009 11:27

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas day . I'll probably be there beyond 12:30 too - looking forward to catching up with everyone.

Happy New Year to all...

PS just to confirm for anyone just joining the thread - meetup at Kelvingrove Museum @ 11.30 on the 8th Jan.

susanthomson123 · 30/12/2009 18:08

Hi

I've just joined Mumsnet and wondered if it would be alright to tag along too for a meet up sometime?

Cheers

Susan

giraffesCanDanceAtHogmanay · 30/12/2009 18:25

Course you can come susan

weegiemum · 30/12/2009 18:27

Yes, come!

The more the merrier!!

Best way to find us is to remember the name "red haired girlie" - then you can find everyone!

kirmcc · 31/12/2009 00:06

i might pop along aswell but it might be closer to 12 as i have to pick ds up from nursery

giraffesCanDanceAtHogmanay · 31/12/2009 04:53

Yup weegie we'd all be stuffed if shes decided to go blonde over Xmas!! Will text tallulahbelle and see if she wants to come too and I could help with her 3.

Nyx · 31/12/2009 09:44

D'oh - have just realised I will be picking dd up at 11:30, not 12:30, so I shouldn't have a problem coming along and not be too late. What other children will be there, please? DD is nearly 4 and quite active, wondering if she will have anybody to play with

geordieminx · 31/12/2009 21:37

My ds will be there Nyx - he's 3 in May and mad as a box of frogs

giraffesCanDanceAtHogmanay · 01/01/2010 18:16

Nyx its you who lives near to me I think

weegiemum · 01/01/2010 18:18

ooooh geordie your ds is faaaaabulous (and of course he loves me!)

geordieminx · 01/01/2010 19:22

Giraffe - it would be lovely if Tallulah came too - as I still havent met the latest additions - if you speak to her tell her I was asking after her.

Weegie - of course he loves you. He loves everyone apart from me! He had him to the irn bru carnival today - he was wild!

giraffesCanDanceAtHogmanay · 01/01/2010 19:33

Will do geordie - they turned one yesterday. She won't be around for long, moving to oz soon

geordieminx · 01/01/2010 20:29

Noooooooo I thought they were only 6 or 7 months.

Had no idea they were moving, last time I saw her she was about 6 months?

I'm pleased though, it'll be nice for her and her husband to be on the same continent.... she is superwoman to have coped this long!!!

giraffesCanDanceAtHogmanay · 02/01/2010 00:09

no they are crawling and chattering and everything!! I remember a year ago being handed a tiny weeny twin 2 and worrying I would break her she was so small - now shes over taken twin 1! Shes quite busy atm with moving plans etc but will see if she can come. Trying to recruit wiggle as well on fb to come. Should I become an events promoter?
