Cranial osteopath recommendations in or near Exeter?

Hello

I'm thinking of trying a CO session for 6-week-old DS who was delivered by ventuse and is now colicky and struggles with a good bf latch.

Does anyone have any experience of a good local practitioner?

Thanks in advance.

I'd recommend Louis Bartlett too! I've not had cranial osteopathy from him, but he is a very good osteo.

My DS had cranial osteopathy when he was 4 weeks old. He hadn't slept for more than 1 continuous hour since he was born - the osteo felt that as he was very large baby (near 11 lbs) and the fact that I delivered pretty rapidly - 2hrs!!! - meant that he probably had some damage to his head, leading to discomfort when sucking and latching on and when lying flat.

DS screamed all the way home from his first session then promptly fell asleep and slept for 5 hours. That evening, I was able to put him down awake for the first time since he was born - amazing results!!

Hope it goes well for you & DS!!

In case anyone is looking for extra information about Osteopathy and treatments for babies and pregnancy in Exeter this could be useful:

I've also heard great reports about Katrina Knighton who practices in Denmark Road in Exeter.

I know this thread is a bit old now, but I took my DD to see Katrina Knighton yesterday for grouchiness (lots of screaming for no apparent reason) and poor bf latch and Katrina was brilliant with her. Hasn't sorted everything out immediately, but it has explained things and DD seems more relaxed today.
